Mostly of reasons for give this trail name of Coca Cola route, has hut accommodation which provided under Kilimanjaro National Park. It’s provides hut like dormitory with beds and solar electricity. This trail it’s for ascending and descending routes, minimum 5 days and maximum 6 days.
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) or Arusha Airport. Meet a representative from Banziadventure, transfer to your hotel. Briefing on hiking details and gear preparation.
Drive to Marangu Gate (1980m a.s.l.). Obtain permits and start hiking through the forest zone to Mandara Hut (2720m a.s.l.). Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut.
Wake-up call with coffee/tea. Hike to Horombo Hut (3720m a.s.l.) through heather and moorland zone. Lunch on the way. Briefing and health check. Overnight at Horombo Hut.
Acclimatization day hike to Zebra Rock (4000m a.s.l.). Return to Horombo Hut for relaxation and photography session.
Early wake-up with tea. Hike to Kibo Hut (4720m a.s.l.), the last hut before summit day. Lunch as discussed. Early dinner and summit briefing.
Summit day! Start early for Uhuru Peak (5895m a.s.l.). Descend to Horombo Hut for rest and lunch.
Descend to Marangu Gate. Collect your Golden Certificate. Transfer to your hotel in Moshi/Arusha for relaxation and celebration.
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for departure.
